We will smile again, we will dance and sing again, because jazz is eternal, and in these turbulent times we need some security.
Brass Association and Vili Stoyanov continue to develop traditional jazz collections, which have already become known among fans of the genre, under the name "Jazz in Synthesis". This time the concept of the evenings will be a little different, every month there will be a series of concerts in which Old school jazz, Latin jazz, Modern jazz, Bebop and original jazz will alternate.
Along with the tireless trombonist are some of the brightest names on the capital's stage - Milen Kukosharov (piano), Martin Tashev (trumpet), Dimitar Lyolev (saxophone), Boris Taslev (double bass) and Atanas Popov (drums).
In addition to the titular performers, Vili promises many guests in the themed evenings.
If they are asked to describe the sound of Vili's trombone, most people who know him will probably use words "powerful", "strong", "arrogant", "explosive", even "monstrous". And that's not a lie, because Vili has a very specific style of playing that can hardly be left unnoticed.
With this program, Vili wants to show you the other side of his trombone - gentle and romantic, accepting the challenge to show the trombone as a soldering tool.
In the program of Old School Trombone are selected works by Duke Ellington, Slide Hampton, Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk and others, with which Willy walks the listeners through the streets of New Orleans and shows them how jazz sounded in the 30s and 40s of the last century.
With his cheerful character, Vili manages to recreate besides the energy of that time, as well his love of jazz, reggae, funk and hip-hop, attracting the audience in very contagious way.

Brazz Association is conceptual unification of brass musicians, created in 2008 by trumpet player Mihail Yossifov and trombone player Velislav Stoyanov, the most active contemporary musicians in Bulgaria.
Brazz Association works actively in last few years for the promotion and revival of brass music in Bulgaria, and is an example and support for many young Bulgarian brass musicians. Here are musicians from different generations and with different musical quests united by their love to brass music.
The members of Brass Association are brass musicians who participate in music projects of different genres - jazz, funk, latin, ethno, punk, hip-hop and create the modern look of the music scene in Bulgaria.
