Big Band Brazz Association

The Big Band Brass Association is the only private big band in the country, and its 17-member lineup is the essence of the jazz scene.
Since its inception, the band has performed on the stage of the National Palace of Culture with "DE PHAZZ", "Sofia Jazz Peak", recorded a concert for Bulgarian National Television at the National Palace of Culture, performs regular concerts on various stages in the country, and is a frequent guest at music festivals.
For many years the Big Band Brass Association has been actively working to promote the art of the big band in Bulgaria - both with solo instrumental concerts and joint concerts with performers with rich vocal abilities and charismatic stage presence such as Patti Austin, Hilda Kazasyan, Vasil Petrov, Orlin Pavlov, Kamelia Todorova and others. The band toured Italy with a guest conductor, performing music by Bernstein and Duke Ellington. The big band has had joint concerts with American trombonist Jigs Wigam, as well as with Grammy winner Michel Camilo.
In April 2011, Angel Zaberski composed and arranged 11 rich and full-blooded songs for a big band and together with the Big Band Brass Association recorded their first album "High voltage".
In 2018 the band's second album is released - "Big Band in Action".
