BRAS PERSPECTIVES is a project of the Bulgarian Music Association, on the initiative of Prof. Dr. Atanas Karafezliev and Velislav Stoyanov.
The aim of the initiative is to encourage teachers both - in the search for young musical talents and also in their personal development and training to update the methodology of teaching brass instruments.
Moderators of the round tables of the project are Prof. Dr. Atanas Karafezliev and Velislav Stoyanov - Brass Association. The concept is supported by Antoni Donchev - conductor of the Big Band of Bulgarian National Radio, Prof. Dimitar Momchilov - former rector of the NMA "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov ”, Mihail Yossifov - Brass Association, Capt. Tsvetomir Vassilev - Military Big Band Stara Zagora and other colleagues.
On 19.10.2019 was held First round tablein the hall "Dimitar Nenov", NMA "Pancho Vladigerov - moderators were Prof. Atanas Karafezliev, Antoni Donchev and Velislav Stoyanov.
On 8-9.02.2020 the first Brass workshop was held in Troyan - with moderator and host - low brass and ensembles Velislav Stoyanov; leading high brass and improvisations - Mikhail Yosifov.
On 20.02.2020 was held Second round tablein the hall "Dimitar Nenov", NMA "Pancho Vladigerov - moderators were Velislav Stoyanov, Mihail Yossifov and Prof. Atanas Karafezliev.
On 8-9.03.2020 was held the second Brass workshop in Veliko Tarnovo - with moderator and host - low brass and ensembles Velislav Stoyanov; leading high brass and accompanist - Todor Bakardjiev.
