25 years active work in various music formations in the country and abroad, as musician, arranger and composer, lead the tireless trombonist Vili Stoyanov to his first solo album.
Освен като наследник на именития композитор Йосиф Цанков, Вили е познат на родната сцена с дейността си по възраждането на духовата музика в страната.
Като съосновател на Българската Брас Асоциация той е идеолог на голяма част от музикалните проекти в портфолиото ѝ – BrazzViliDJ, The essential FUNK trombone, Old School Trombonethe initiative to revive the music of his grandfather - Joseph Tsankov, which realized 2 albums and 5 music programs - big band, bossa nova, chamber trombone quartet and chamber symphonic orchestra, solo trombone and jazz trio.
Together with the trumpet player Mihail Yossifov are ideologues and drivers of a number of other music projects.
The cheerful character of Vili and his social nature, together with the love for the musicians with whom he builds his creative career, as well as the lack of any pretensions, logically lead to the name of the new album Some nice melodies, to share with friends.
Supporters in the realization of his ideas in the album are some of the most active representatives of Bulgarian jazz scene - Milen Kukosharov, Martin Tashev, Dimitar Liolev, Boris Taslev and Atanas Popov, and special guests in the recordings to whom Vili has dedicated separate solo pieces are Mihail Yosifov, Dimitar Karamfilov and Militsa Gladnishka.
Without claiming to fit in a specific genre, but with a guarantee of virtuoso improvisations, the album is entrusted to some of the closest to Vili and proven to be bright representatives of the contemporary music scene.
